Technical Theatre Arts

Technical Theatre Arts is an extension of our Theatre Department. Here students will learn and explore different careers in technical theater. They will demonstrate creative design skills to produce functional scenery, props, lighting, sound, costumes, and makeup. They will gain an understanding of the responsibilities of theatrical production personnel. As students continue with Technical Theatre Arts in sections 2, 3 & 4, they will begin applying stage management skills to enhance personal organization, leadership, and responsibility and maintain leadership roles. These students will receive practice and training in self-marketing and interview skills, as well as research and plan projects based around visual story-telling. These students will be directly involved in the planning and decision-making for the set design of the Warrior Arts Production and Musical this year.
