In response to COVID-19, for the 2020-2021 school year students and parents have the option to enroll in our Virtual Learning Academy (VLA).  We are predominantly utilizing VirtualSC and other online programs available to GTCHS for these classes.  Academic Support and the GTCHS Senior Project are the only courses that will be taught by GTCHS faculty/staff.

The option is intended for students who have medical needs or personal reasons to not return until a COVID-19 vaccine is developed so they intend to not attend school in person regardless of what the level of community spread is throughout the 2020-2021 school year.  Students and parents selecting this option do so with the understanding that they do not intend for their student to return to in person instruction this year and that this commitment is for the complete academic year.
