This second level of French study and is not only fun and inspiring, but designed to expand upon the knowledge of the present tense and basic vocabulary gained in French 1 with expansions into the past and future tenses as well as new topics.  The student will develop the ability to communicate  in the four modes of communication at a novice-mid to intermediate-low level on the ACTFL proficiency scale.  In short, you will achieve a moderate understanding of how to read, write, listen to, and speak French, and through these modes of communication gain increased understanding of the culture and practices of France and other French-speaking countries.
