At Greenville Tech. Charter High School, the Student Government serves two main purposes. One of our biggest jobs is to serve as a liaison between the students and their advisories and the administration. We use a Student Senator from each advisory to help us transfer the ideas and concerns from the students up to the administration. We are also tasked with planning several of the school events and functions. For example, this September, Student Government will be coordinating a food drive to benefit a local church and the less fortunate. We also coordinate more exciting events such as school dances, Spirit Week, and Student Appreciation Day (like a high school field day).
