Introduction to polynomials-adding, subtracting and multiplying
Students will know how to:
1) Determine what a monomial is and what degree it has?
2) Know what a polynomial is and isn't?
3. Know how to add, subtract and multiply polynomials?

Graphing Polynomials- Day 1
Thing to know for Graphing Polynominals
1) How to determine shape using highest degree of polynominal. Remember what "odd" versus "even" highest degree polynominals look like.
2) How to determine the number of turns. Number of turns are 1 less then the highest degree of the polynominal.
3) How how to describe "End Behavior" of the polynominal. Start from left as x goes to negative infinite, where does f(x) go - positive or negative inifitity? From the right, as x goes to positive inifinty, where does f(x) go - positive or negative infinity?
4) Remember relative minimum and maximums are the "Y" values where the minimums and maximums occur.
5) Know how to determine increasing and decreasing intervals. Go from left to right on the graph.
