Coach Shiley had been coaching volleyball for 27 years, 21 of them at GTCHS.  In his tenure at GTCHS, he has taken the Lady Warriors to 17 post-seasons appearances.  Coach Shiley started his coaching 9th grade at Start High School in Toledo, OH.  A year later, he advanced to the varsity level at Elmwood High School in Bowling Green, OH.  In 2001, he started  the volleyball program at GTCHS with 7 girls.  The program quickly grew in a few seasons with JV and Varsity teams.
