English 2 Honors is a survey of World Literature, and includes pieces from diverse eras, cultures, and traditions. The course is designed to prepare students for the rigor of the South Carolina State Standards for College and Career Readiness and the state-mandated End-of-Course exam. This is an Honors level course. This means that students will exhibit a higher level of competency and maturity. Students should expect longer writing assignments, more independent reading, and higher expectations for depth and quality of work.
