INTERESTED IN PLAYING BASEBALL IN 2018?

Dear Incoming Class of 2021,

Congratulations on your acceptance to Greenville Tech Charter High School!  My name is Michael Causey, and I am the head baseball coach at Greenville Tech Charter and I want to share some information with you about our baseball program and student athlete success.  Greenville Tech Charter provides you with an outstanding academic environment while being able to pursue other areas of interest such as the arts and athletics.  Our athletic program competes in the AA division of high school athletics against teams such as Brashier Middle College, Southside Christian, Liberty, Ninety Six, and Abbeville which provide strong competition in all sports.  Our goal as coaches is to provide a competitive athletic program, give the athletes a level of confidence to compete on and off the field and maintain high academic standards.  As an athlete at Greenville Tech Charter, you have the ability to compete at the varsity level as a Freshman and build over the next four years.  We are proud to say that one of our graduating Seniors this year has signed a letter of intent to play baseball for USC-Union next year!  Our goal is to develop a disciplined baseball team that believes in hard work and the importance of a team!  I am excited that we have 9 returning players for the 2017-2018 school year and I am looking for incoming Freshman that are willing to become a part of our program.  We will have open Fall workouts in September and October with the possibility of a Fall scrimmage.  The Spring season starts on January 29th and we want to be ready for pre season tournaments leading up to a 16-18 game season.  Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions before or after the start of school this Fall!

Sincerely,

Michael Causey
