EGreen Project

E Green (Education, Engineering Technology, and Employment) is a federal grant for Greenville Technical Charter High School, Greenville Technical College, and nine business partners to work together for the seamless transition from high school to college to the world of work. Students who are accepted into the program will choose an area of engineering technology, will take dual credit classes, and will earn a certificate, diploma, and/or an associate degree in just a semester or two after high school graduation.

In addition, students will have the opportunity for a paid internship with one of our current business partners, which include Duke Energy, Lockheed Martin, 3 M, Piedmont Natural Gas, BMW, Michelin, Jostens, Bowater, and the Chamber of Commerce. Other partners may be included at a later date.

E Green participants will be a part of a seminar which meets weekly. This support group will continue to meet after high school graduation.

E Green is:

  • Starting engineering technology degree or certificate program while in high school

  • Receiving support through seminar and community mentors

  • Getting paid for summer work in your area of choice
