College Application Process:

1. Apply online (Colleges prefer this method.)

2. Apply early to Clemson, USC, College of Charleston, etc. for early decision. (Check online for early decision at your desired college.)

3. After you apply online, bring the counselor recommendation page to Mrs. Allen in Guidance. She will you use your resume in filling out of this portion. She will also send your transcript, a school profile, and the SC Uniform Grading Scale.

4. If the college prefers a paper application, download it, complete it, bring it to Mrs. Allen, and she will send it with everything else.

5. Give a week a to process your request. Pay close attention to college deadlines.

Other College Information

1. We request that students a submit copies of all college-university acceptance letters, military appointments, and scholarship awards to Guidance. This  is regardless of your acceptance to their institution.

2. You are allowed four days for college visits. These are counted as field trips. Inform your teachers in advance, as well as Mrs. Cady in attendance, and bring documentation of your college visit to Mrs. Cady upon your return to school.
