South Carolina Teaching Fellows Program

Want to become a teacher? Want $24,000 for college? You can receive $24,000 ($6,000) per year in return for your service as a South Carolina public school teacher for four years. Youngarts Scholarship Opportunity

Free College Fair:

The North American Coalition of Christian Admissions Professionals (NACCAP) is sponsoring a National Christian Fair. It will be held in Greenville at Southside Christian High School on Tuesday, October 2nd from 6:30-8:30 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact Jared Christensen, Director of Admissions at Anderson University. Army ROTC Tuition Scholarship:

If you are planning to attend either Furman University or North Greenville University and are interested in receiving an army ROTC tuition scholarship, please visit armyrotc.com/edu/furman or call (864) 294-2047.

An Excellent Scholarship Opportunity:

The S.C. Governor's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities is sponsoring The Journalism Contest 2008. The winner receives a four-year scholarship to a SC state-supported institution of his or her choice. The winner must be able to verify financial need to the state supported institution. Eligibility:

1. SC resident between the ages of 16 and 19    

2. Must not have entered a post-secondary school before March 1, 2008

3. Must be a high school junior or senior (You do not have to have a disability to enter.)

Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities:

The school will be soon be hosting an open house from 10:a.m.-12:30 p.m. The date it will be hosted is to be announced, but you can call (864) 282-3713 or email admissions@scgsah.state.sc.us  to reserve your spot or to find more information.
